It’s about time.
The Sun-Times is reporting, based on leaked speech they obtained, Mayor Daley will apologize for how the city handled the meter transition, but not for the privatization itself.
“I’ll be the first to admit that we totally screwed up the way it was implemented,” says the text of Daley’s speech.
Daley is going to give this speech tonight at the South Shore Cultural Center.
